Shiv Mandir

Shiv Mandir, located in Phase 7, Mohali, is a serene and spiritually uplifting temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities of Hinduism. Revered as the destroyer of evil and the embodiment of supreme consciousness, Lord Shiva is worshipped here in the form of a Shivlinga, beautifully enshrined and meticulously decorated with fresh flowers, bilva leaves, and sacred offerings. The temple is a peaceful retreat amidst the busy urban surroundings of Mohali, offering devotees a place for inner reflection and divine connection.

The temple gains special prominence during Mahashivratri, when thousands of devotees gather for rudra abhishek, night-long jagrans, and special pujas. Mondays are considered especially auspicious, with devotees visiting early in the morning to offer milk, honey, and water to the Shivlinga. Regular aarti sessions, chanting of Om Namah Shivaya, and bhajan-kirtans fill the temple with spiritual vibrations that draw people of all ages. Besides its religious significance, Shiv Mandir also promotes community service, with occasional langars and charitable drives organized for the needy. With its tranquil environment and deep-rooted spiritual energy, Shiv Mandir in Phase 7 serves as a cherished sanctuary of faith and devotion in the heart of Mohali.
