The Jagannath Temple<\/strong>, located in Puri<\/strong>, Odisha, is one of the most sacred Hindu temples in India, dedicated to Lord Jagannath<\/strong>, a form of Lord Vishnu\/Krishna<\/strong>. Along with Badrinath, Rameswaram<\/strong>, and Dwarka<\/strong>, it is one of the four holy shrines of the Char Dham Yatra<\/strong>, which every devout Hindu aims to visit at least once in their lifetime. The Rath Yatra<\/strong>, held in the month of Ashadha (June\u2013July)<\/strong>, is the most famous festival of Puri.
